One of California's rare and unique endemics and the most unusual fir. Sharp, 2 in. long needles, silvery on back, give dramatic texture to its grandly sweeping branches. Jewel-like cones with long whiskers sparkling with resin decorate the top of its sharply pointed, 50 - 70 ft. crown. Sun, drought-hardy. z8
